"Free means free. Your designs belong to you. Don't use the platform to hurt people, and you and KoalaFul will get along just fine."

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of KoalaFul ("the Service"), operated at koalaful.io and dash.koalaful.io. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

2. Your account

You need to be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction). One person per account. You're responsible for keeping your password secure and for anything done under your account. If your account is compromised, email support@koalaful.io immediately.

3. The free plan

The Free plan includes the full editor, every premium template, every stock asset, every premium font, and unlimited watermark-free exports. No credit card required, no trial period, no time limit. We can change what's included on the Free plan, but our published policy is that core features stay free indefinitely.

4. The Pro API plan

The Pro API plan is paid (from $19/month) and offers programmatic access to the Service. You can cancel any time from your account dashboard — cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. We don't offer prorated refunds for unused time, but we will refund a full billing period if you cancel within 14 days of your first payment and have made fewer than 100 API renders.

5. Content ownership

What you make belongs to you. KoalaFul claims no ownership of designs you create, files you upload, or content you generate. You retain all intellectual property rights in your work.

You grant KoalaFul a limited license to store, render, display, and process your designs only for the purpose of providing the Service. This license ends when you delete the content or the account.

6. Commercial use of designs

You can use the designs you create commercially. This includes designs that incorporate premium templates, stock photos, illustrations, and fonts from the KoalaFul library — all of which are licensed for commercial use on both the Free and Pro plans. You can sell products featuring your KoalaFul designs, use them in marketing, publish them online, print them, distribute them.

What you cannot do is redistribute or resell the underlying KoalaFul assets themselves (the raw stock photos, the premium fonts, the templates as templates) to third parties.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to create content that's illegal, defamatory, threatening, or that infringes someone else's rights
• Create sexual content involving minors, content promoting violence, or content designed to mislead or defraud
• Attempt to circumvent rate limits, security controls, or access controls
• Scrape, copy, or extract bulk content from the platform
• Resell access to the Service or share your account with others outside your team
• Use the Service to spam, phish, or send unsolicited communications

Violations may result in account suspension or termination. Severe violations may be reported to relevant authorities.

8. Termination

You can delete your account at any time from your dashboard. We can suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, with notice where reasonable. If we terminate your account without cause, we'll provide an export of your designs first.

9. Availability

We aim for 99.9% uptime on the Service but don't guarantee uninterrupted availability. Scheduled maintenance is announced in advance where possible. The Pro API plan includes a separate uptime SLA documented at /developers.

10. Warranties and liability

The Service is provided "as is." We don't warrant that it will be error-free, uninterrupted, or meet every specific need. To the maximum extent permitted by law, KoalaFul's total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the prior 12 months (which, on the Free plan, is zero).

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced at least 30 days in advance by email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept them. If you don't agree with new Terms, you can delete your account before they take effect.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of England and Wales, unless local consumer protection law in your country of residence grants you additional rights to bring action elsewhere.
